Centre de la Pierre, du Nois et des Energies Renouvelables (Stone, Wood, Renewable Energies Centre (CPBEr))

With its educational montages, its work and its products, the CPBEr is at the same time a demonstration site, an information space (an important Stone and Wood library) and a permanent exhibition platform for companies concerned with wood, natural stone construction or those active in the renewable energy sector.

This new centre is also aims to be a place of privilege for activities and development. In fact, besides holding conferences, it is a meeting and discussion place for the companies of the sectors concerned. An original heating system based on renewable energy was set up at the CPBEr. This system combines an automatic wood pellet boiler and a 140 sq ft (13 m2) of solar panels.

The centre is open to the public every weekday (from 9 to 12 am and from 2 to 4.30 pm) and at the weekend on appointment.
