Air baptism in plane and glider. Trainings.
If you are interested in piloting, come and learn to fly at the National Gliding Centre (CNVV), in the heart of the Ardennes, within the exceptional surroundings of the Saint-Hubert plateau. The CNVV welcomes those of 14 years old and over. There is no age limit to learn how to fly a glider.
Open everyday, from Easter holidays to the end of September.

To fish in our rivers, a fishing permit is required. It is valid for the current civil year and is available from all post offices of the Walloon region or via Internet. It is limited to one person per permit. Fishing is allowed from half an hour before sunrise to half an hour after sunset.

Half way between the outdoor swimming pool and a small lake, the Libramont reservoir is a meeting place for amateur swimmers during the summer. Its capacity is twice as large as that of a dynamic swimming pool (95 x 60 m or 290 x 190 ft). Tourists are invited to swim in complete safety under the watchful eye of the lifeguards.

It is a track created by the Maison de la Randonnée (The Trekking Office) in cooperation with various Tourist Information Centres.
Accessible by bicycle, motorcycle or car, it is detailed in a road atlas showing the map of the track stage by stage: 119 miles (191 km) in total, split in 6 stages of 12.5 to 19 miles (20 to 30 km), including crossroads, directions to follow, not-to-be-missed sites, mileage information and a map of the track. A new kind of road atlas made for trekkers, it is practical and easy to use.
This track will lead you to discover the regions of Saint-Hubert, of Awenne, the village with 7 fountains, then leading you to Marche-en-Famenne, Nassogne, Champlon, Ste-Ode and Libramont.

We offer you a choice of 30 walking treks and six mountain bike tracks in the region of Saint-Hubert. These treks will lead you to the discovery of the town, its surroundings and the neighbouring villages, and to get your fill of oxygen in the huge and magnificent forest surrounding the town.
These maps can be purchased at the Tourist Information Centre for the price of 8 €. We do not send this item by post.
